The Chennai Photo Biennale and WWF India will present a collection of wildlife photographs that showcase the interplay between wildlife, landscapes, topographies and humanity. These photographs invite viewers to consider the natural world as more than a mere backdrop to human life and wildlife as more than exotic species— asking us to slow down and pay attention to the small, often overlooked acts through which humans, animals and ecosystems coexist, in harmony and resistance.
Sale proceeds from this foundation will go towards WWF India.
Vyakt Avyakt: The Manifest and the Unmanifest explores the relationship between form and formlessness: the named world of things, and the source it emerges from and returns to. Artistic abstraction represents this relationship, not as distinct entities but as flow, which South Asian philosophy regards as the most divine of states. Each work sits at the seam between these orders, whether in civilisations building and unbuilding, in energy gathering and dissolving, or in the space between depiction and perception.
The Dabriwala Foundation for the Arts advances scholarship and education in art appreciation, founded on a collection curated over three generations.
