Guided Walks

The best way to experience an art fair is with the people who know the artworks the best. And ART MUMBAI’s guided walks, led by experienced art educators from Art & Wonderment, are the perfect introduction to the fair.

Essentially curated tours of the gallery booths, our guided walks take you through the highlights of the fair—the art on display, and the artists, contexts and conversations that shaped them. Through our guided tours of ART MUMBAI, you are given the tools you need to navigate the fair—knowing how to look closely, how to ask yourself the right questions and the ability to draw your own conclusions.

How do I book a Guided Walk?

1 guided walk is included with every VIP ticket purchase, and walks are available as add-ons to regular ticket purchases for Rs. 500.

If you are not able to buy a ticket to the guided walk online, you may be able to buy one at the fair, at our on-site box office near the main entrance (Gate 1/A). Slots for the guided walks are limited, so available tickets at the fair are on a first come, first served basis.

What is the schedule for the guided walks?

Dates: November 13-15
Times: 12 PM | 2 PM | 4 PM | 6 PM

Do I need to choose a time slot for the guided walk when booking a VIP ticket?

When purchasing a VIP ticket online, you do not need to select a walk timing, but do consider that the guided walks may sell out and there may not be a slot available.

Can I attend a guided walk without the add-on on my ticket?

You may buy a ticket to the guided walk at the on-site box office, near the main entrance (Gate 1/A).

Where does the walk start? Where should I be at the beginning of the walk?

Guided walks start in front of ART MUMBAI’s Main Entrance (Gate 1/A), diagonally across from the ART MUMBAI Collective.

How long are the guided walks?

Walks typically last about one hour, but please feel free to stay back and ask questions.

Are the guided walks suitable for children?

We have 2 walks specifically tailored to children, at 11:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Each child that attends the walk must be accompanied by an adult.

How do I buy tickets for the children’s walk?

Tickets for the children’s walk can be purchased online via District or at the fair via our on-site box office.

Do adults accompanying children on the children’s guided walk need separate tickets?

No, adults accompanying children on the children’s guided walk do not need to purchase additional tickets to the walk.

Can children attend the walk unaccompanied by an adult?

No they may not. An accompanying adult must be present with each child at all times.
